Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in the gastroenterology and immunology therapeutic areas.
  • Develop and execute medical strategies to support Takeda's products and services in the gastroenterology and immunology therapeutic areas.
  • Provide scientific expertise and support to healthcare professionals, including the dissemination of complex scientific data and the facilitation of strategically aligned medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research processes.
  • Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals and Takeda's US Medical team.
  • Participate in executing medical strategy at medical conferences and events.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) or Master's degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience post-doctorate as a field-based medical science liaison in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Execution of activities within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Able to travel 70% of the time, including ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends.
  • Must have authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental.
