At America's Best, we're looking for talented individuals to join our team of opticians.

As an optician at America's Best, you'll play a crucial role in helping customers see their best to live their best.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing
  • Performing insertion and removal training of contact lenses
  • Educating clients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care
  • Maintaining accurate and organized patient records
  • Maintaining visual merchandising according to Brand and Company Standards
  • Mentoring potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Previous retail experience is preferred, but not required
  • Maintaining a license, as required by state
  • Strong selling skills, aimed at meeting both the store's and self-sales targets, by following company policies
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to give instruction in a clear and concise manner to customers
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detailed oriented
  • Multitasking and time-management skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance
