Job Overview


PingWind Inc. is seeking skilled professionals to fulfill the role in support of CENTCOM J6 at MacDill AFB, Florida.

This role encompasses the deployment of Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for network surveillance and security adherence to identify and mitigate irregular activities.

The position also emphasizes the automation and enhancement of operational processes associated with ACAS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure discovery, vulnerability, and compliance assessments
  • Validate proper execution of scans and generate automated reports
  • Analyze discovery scan outcomes to pinpoint systems lacking vulnerability assessments and produce automated reports
  • Examine vulnerability scan results to identify, troubleshoot, and rectify credential and other prevalent scanning issues, along with automated reporting
  • Compile and review scan results to support asset inventory needs and automation
  • Collaborate closely with system administrators to ensure a minimum of 98% credentialed access to all systems
  • Evaluate scan results to determine areas where vulnerability remediation can significantly reduce risk and automate reporting
  • Configure ACAS components in accordance with DISA best practice guidelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve communication issues between ACAS software components, failed plugin updates, and other common software challenges
  • Maintain automated ACAS reporting to CMRS
  • Conduct audits of new hardware and software to ensure cyber hygiene before deployment to production
  • Provide ACAS scanning support for Risk Management Framework authorizations
  • Present weekly briefings to leadership on vulnerability findings across the organization
