About the Role

This part-time position requires 24 hours of work per week, with a schedule that includes nights from 6:30pm to 7am, every other weekend, and rotating weekends. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where you'll provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments to develop a nursing plan of care consistent with the master treatment plan.
  • Participate in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives, and interventions.
  • Implement the nursing plan of care for assigned patients and conduct group therapy sessions.
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise the nursing plan of care as needed.
Requirements
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • At least one year of nursing experience preferred, with geriatric nursing experience a plus.
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Illinois Board of Nursing required.
