Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia. As a travel allied health professional, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare teams, gaining valuable experience and skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state of Virginia.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
