Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Designer to join our team at Insight Global. As a Senior Civil Designer, you will be responsible for performing design work as assigned and mentored by a Lead Project Designer or Drafting Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the components they are designing and be capable of generating detailed drawings within their assigned disciplines. Additionally, they will be able to delegate work to drafters on assigned projects.

Civil 3D experience is a hard requirement for this role, and the successful candidate will be able to teach others on the team best practices.

Requirements
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 8+ years related structural design experience required
  • Civil 3D experience and ability to teach others on the team best practices
  • Computer Aided 3D Modeling on assigned projects utilizing AutoCAD
  • Capable of generating different types of "scaled" and "non-scaled" drawings
  • Printing, plotting & filling of drawings
  • Complete high paced assignments through effective prioritization, scheduling, planning and executions of assigned work
  • Communicate effectively with a wide diversity of personnel with varying technical backgrounds
