Job Summary

As an Optical Dispensary Specialist at EssilorLuxottica, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient experiences through the selection of eyewear, accurate measurements, ordering, and fitting of eyewear to meet all of their needs. You will work closely with doctors and practice staff to ensure high-quality patient care and support the establishment of the practice as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.

Key Responsibilities

Custom fits glasses and precisely places prescription in lenses.
Acts as a leader in optical acumen, providing a voice for peers and supporting the development of long-term solutions to problems.
Takes and records measurements, adjusts or fits eyewear correctly, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and patient requirements.
Explores the needs and priorities of patients by asking open-ended questions and anticipating problems to develop effective solutions.
Operates the point-of-sale system, inputting patient information with accuracy and attention to detail.
Commits to delivery dates and times, seeks feedback, and asks for referrals to achieve exceptional results on individual and team goals.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent.
Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and team building.
Basic math skills and sales skills.
Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, and other software applications.
