Reporting Structure:
The Aviation Maintenance Specialist will report directly to the Lead A&P Technician (Maintenance).

Key Responsibilities:

7. Possess a solid foundational knowledge of aircraft systems.

9. Conduct maintenance and repairs on both customer and company aircraft under the guidance of a qualified technician or Lead A&P Technician.

10. Accurately document work in progress and sign off on work cards.
11. Report any unserviceable equipment to the assigned Lead A&P Technician.
12. Notify the Lead A&P Technician of any defects identified during maintenance.
13. Attend training sessions as directed by management.

Qualifications:
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
3. A&P Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:
1. Recommended 1-2 years of experience in a mechanical field.
2. 1-2 years of military or civil aviation experience.


The physical demands of this role include:

1. Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
2. Bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and climbing ladders.
3. Standing for extended periods.
4. Working at heights exceeding 10 feet with appropriate safety equipment.
