Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence for Geri. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain food stations, including entrees, soups, salads, and beverages.
  • Serve and replenish food from counters and steam tables, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations, counters, steam tables, and equipment, adhering to high standards of hygiene.
  • Brew coffee and tea, restock beverage areas, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Interact with residents in the serving and dining areas, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Wash dishes by hand or place them in a dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Sweep, mop, clean, and vacuum floors, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Remove trash and garbage, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist in the preparation and storage of hot and/or cold foods, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Operate a cash register for cash, check, and charge payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Food service experience preferred.
  • Background check after Offer of Employment.
