About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Pollak Innovative Management Partners. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist the cook in preparing and serving meals, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment by following established cleaning schedules and performing cleaning duties as scheduled.
  • Supply Management: Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, and report any damaged or loose fixtures, flooring, or tiling requiring replacement or repair.
  • Resident Care: Ensure that all residents are treated fairly, with kindness, dignity, and respect, and report any grievances or complaints made by residents to the Dietary Manager.
  • Compliance and Safety: Maintain compliance with all Federal and State long-term care regulations, Dietary Department Policy and Procedures, and facility Infection Control Policy.
Requirements
  • Education: High School graduate and previous institutional dietary service experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and work assignments; ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions; numerical accountability for recipe preparation and proper measuring of cleaning agents and chemicals.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
