Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our ACT team in Durham and Raleigh, NC. As a member of our team, you will provide clinical services to individuals with severe mental illness, including medication management, symptom assessment, and crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services to SPMI clients receiving ACT services
  • Prescribe, administer, and monitor medications
  • Direct psychopharmacological and medical services
  • Coordinate with the ACT team to monitor client clinical status and response to treatment
  • Assess and manage symptoms, and provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy, substance use treatment, and support services

Requirements

  • Doctorate or better in Medicine
  • License to practice medicine in NC
  • Experience working with SPMI clients and ACT teams
  • Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week for every 50 individuals served
