Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Stardom Employment Consultants. As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Closing Process Management: Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis, to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other applicable accounting standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve any accounting issues.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles, proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Excel, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
