Overview:
Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of resort accommodations and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach in fulfilling various maintenance roles.
  • Maintain operational efficiency of equipment and systems by adhering to preventive maintenance schedules, keeping detailed maintenance logs, and executing repairs and installations as necessary.
  • Enhance the resort's appearance and accessibility by managing litter, snow removal, landscaping, and general upkeep.
  • Assist with special projects, including moving furniture, setting up for events, and managing audio-visual equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure cleanliness and order within the building by performing tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and restocking supplies.
  • Regulate indoor climate by troubleshooting HVAC systems.
  • Manage lighting systems through bulb and ballast replacements and electrical repairs.
  • Promote a safe and clean work environment by adhering to established safety protocols.

Compensation:
$21/hr plus additional compensation based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience required in the following areas:
    • Electrical systems: single-phase (110/220 volt) and three-phase (240/480 volt)
    • Pneumatics: solenoid valves (24 volt systems)
    • Hydraulics: cylinder and valve switch operations
    • Sewer lift pumps and motors
    • Water heater maintenance
    • Pump repairs including seals and bushings
    • Knowledge of sewer cleanout procedures
    • Certification in AC, heating, and refrigeration
    • Plumbing skills including installation of faucets and valves
    • Commercial kitchen equipment maintenance
    • Experience with conveyor systems
    • Bearing replacement and repair
  • Ability to meet established performance standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform various physical activities including climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Heavy lifting required, with the ability to exert over 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Visual acuity necessary for operating machinery and performing skilled trades.
  • Exposure to varying environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and maintain focus in high-stress situations.
