Apparel Manufacturing Director

We are seeking an Apparel Manufacturing Director to join our team and drive the adoption of our revolutionary VegaTM 3D weaving technology across global apparel manufacturing partners. This role involves frequent international travel to client sites and periodic visits to our company's headquarters in the Bay Area, California.
As a key member of our Commercialization team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing strategic partnerships with manufacturers, overseeing the deployment of VegaTM machines, and building a robust pipeline of potential manufacturing partners.
The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of experience in apparel manufacturing, exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills with C-suite executives, strong financial acumen, and a deep understanding of apparel manufacturing processes, economics, and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities- Drive business growth by developing strategic partnerships with manufacturers.
- Oversee the deployment of 15-20 VegaTM machines in partner facilities within 18 months.
- Build a robust pipeline of potential manufacturing partners.
- Collaborate with Commercialization and Branding teams to align brands, manufacturers, and our go-to-market strategy.
- Partner with the Operations team to manage manufacturer relationships and execute scale-up plans.
The salary band for this role is $112,000 - $132,000 USD annually, depending on experience, plus equity benchmarked to the 75th percentile.
