Senior Creative Director for Apparel Packaging

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Graphic Designer with expertise in apparel packaging design for big-box and club accounts. The successful candidate will join our NYC showroom team, working closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to produce innovative packaging solutions that meet retailer specifications and amplify our brand's presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop compelling packaging designs for apparel products, ensuring alignment with Reflex Performance Resources' brand standards and big-box retailer requirements.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, product development, marketing, and sales teams to produce cohesive packaging that enhances brand identity and maximizes shelf impact.
- Analyze industry trends and competitive research to stay ahead in the activewear industry, contributing forward-thinking packaging design ideas.
- Design detailed renderings, prototypes, and dielines to translate conceptual designs into high-quality packaging that reflects our commitment to excellence.
- Manage production quality, coordinating with production teams and overseas vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget and brand specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in apparel packaging design, with expertise in club account retail (e.g., Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and strong knowledge of big-box and club packaging standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field preferred.
- Portfolio Required: Please provide a portfolio showcasing relevant packaging experience.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
