Responsibilities and Expectations
This position involves a range of responsibilities, including:
- Reviewing and preparing financial reports for submission to regulatory bodies.
- Maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, as well as 5+ years of post-college experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, retail company, or within a financial reporting group. A CPA license is also required. In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
