Job Overview

THR Partners is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our Process and Product Improvement team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in product design and development, driving meaningful improvements in product performance, reliability, and safety.

About the Role:

  • Product Optimization: Utilize engineering principles to refine product designs, enhancing performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
  • Project Coordination: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying key milestones, tasks, and potential risks to ensure timely, on-budget project completion.
  • Risk Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish contingencies and proactive risk mitigation strategies that support project success and deliverable quality.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other departments to ensure alignment on project scope and timelines, maintaining overall project cohesion.
  • Design and Prototyping: Employ advanced 3D CAD tools to create, communicate, and prototype innovative product concepts, providing a visual roadmap for development and production teams.
  • Customer-Focused Problem Solving: Analyze product applications, investigate and resolve customer inquiries, and provide creative solutions to field challenges, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and consistent project status updates to all stakeholders, including project team members, suppliers, and customer groups, to maintain alignment and transparency.

This position requires strong skills in product design and development, with experience in HVAC or similar fields being beneficial but not essential. We welcome candidates from any industry who can bring their unique perspective and expertise to this role.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
