Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer

AXISCADES Inc. - North America Operations is seeking a skilled Automation Controls Engineer to join our AES Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing generator control switchgear human machine interface (HMI) applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, modify, develop, write, convert, and implement software programming for HMI applications.
  • Configure, program, and test HMI hardware.
  • Collaborate with Power System Engineers to validate and correct HMI programming.
  • Provide support for HMI issues in the field and remote HMI installation support.

Requirements:

  • Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum with 1-3 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant internships may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Factory Talk, RSView, Vijeo, Crimson, Kepware, and EcoStruxure Machine Scada Expert.
  • Strong understanding of VBA Scripting, Javascript, HTML, C++, FBD (Function Block Programming), and SQL.
