Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of food and supplies within budgetary constraints while ensuring adequate stock for each meal service
  • Provide expert guidance and administrative oversight in diet planning, menu development, and the preparation and serving of both standard and specialized diets
  • Ensure that meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared promptly while adhering to established menus and dietary orders
  • Conduct interviews with residents and their families, as needed, to gather dietary history
  • Complete the dietary section of clinical records accurately and in a timely manner
  • Engage in regular meetings, including department head discussions and interdisciplinary care planning sessions

Qualifications

  • Must possess registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Serve Safe certification required
  • Preferred experience of one to two years in a management or supervisory role
