Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a pediatric setting.

13 weeks

Shift:

This is a 36 hour per week position that requires RRT and Peds experience. Must have NICU and PICU experience.

Experience:

Two years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting is preferred.

License:

Licensed by the Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Certifications:

Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care; Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support within 3 months of hire.

Must-Have:

NICU and Pediatric experience, RRT certification.

Job Description:

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing services for the Respiratory Therapy Department across all appropriate age levels.
  • Administering therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff.
  • Recording treatment information and patient response in computerized medical records.
  • Acting as a resource person to medical staff.
  • Performing invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients.
  • Providing age-appropriate care to patients.
  • Ensuring respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained.
  • Maintaining necessary respiratory therapy records.
  • Participating as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Clinical decision-making skills related to pulmonary and cardiac systems and age of the patient.
  • Ability to interpret appropriate information to identify patient needs.
  • Ability to work under stress and maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and staff.
  • Basic computer skills.
