Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. As a key member of our pulmonary medicine team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with respiratory conditions, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer a wide range of therapeutic services and diagnostic tests to patients with various respiratory conditions.
  • Set up and maintain equipment and supplies, providing assistance to physicians during special procedures.
  • Perform assessments and re-assessments of patient history, vital signs, and other relevant data to determine appropriate therapy modalities.
  • Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analysis, as well as intubation procedures as needed.
  • Provide education and training to new staff members and assist students rotating through the hospital.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Registry Eligible Respiratory Therapy School.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License issued by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision (OSBMLS).
  • At least one year of full-time experience in respiratory care or a recent year of a hands-on clinical practicum in an accredited respiratory care program.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written/verbal).
Work Environment

This position may involve moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Must follow universal safety precautions.
