Staff Physician - Gastroenterology
Job Summary:The University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Staff Physician to join our Gastroenterology team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing direct inpatient and outpatient care to GI and Hepatology patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services to patients requiring Gastroenterology/Hepatology services
- Rotate evening and holiday on-call duties, as well as rotating on the GI or Hepatology inpatient services as needed
- Maintain outpatient clinic and endoscopic procedures at UHealth locations
- Read motility procedures generated through the hospital motility laboratory
- MD degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency
- Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligible)
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology (or board eligible)
- Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply
- Valid DEA licensure
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification
