Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our inpatient neurosurgery team. As a specialist in neurosurgery, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating and treating patients with acute, chronic complaints and health maintenance concerns related to neurosurgery. You will also perform or request diagnostic studies, administer medications, and collaborate with attending physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Evaluates and treats patients with acute, chronic complaints and health maintenance concerns related to specialty.
- Obtains complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new and return patients.
- Performs or requests and evaluates diagnostic studies as indicated upon evaluation of the patient.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background, including a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited university and PA program accreditation. You will also need PA state licensure, BLS certification, and DEA registration.
Stanford Health Care offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay scale starting at $108.50 per hour, which translates to approximately $225,000 per year based on 12-hour shifts and a 0.9 FTE. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
