As a Palliative Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on relief from pain and stress, and improving quality of life.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for patients with serious illnesses.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
- Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
- Trains and supervises medical students and residents engaged in specialty activities and procedures, as appropriate.
- May manage the daily operations of a specific medical program, patient care unit, or research function.
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy with an unrestricted license.
- Appointment with CWRU SOM at the level commensurate with experience.
- Fellowship Training in some specialties.
