Clinical Staff Position in Palliative Medicine

The Cleveland Clinic Foundation is seeking a clinical staff physician to join its Department of Palliative and Supportive Care. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a thriving palliative care team that provides clinical services throughout the spectrum of palliative care.

As a clinical staff physician, you will be responsible for providing clinical care and teaching. Your clinical responsibilities will focus on inpatient consultation with our specialized, interdisciplinary palliative care teams in the ICU, oncology units, and regular nursing floors. You will also have opportunities to work in our outpatient clinic, providing care to patients with cancer and non-cancer conditions.

We offer a competitive fellowship program, training 6 physicians yearly, and opportunities to participate in research and quality improvement. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.

Requirements:

  • BC/BE in Palliative Medicine and Hospice
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio
  • Strong clinical skills and an interest in medical education and professional development
