About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at The Stepping Stones Group. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to infants and toddlers with developmental or physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists and Developmental Therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication skills and oral motor function.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication and prevent misunderstandings.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and current licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and adapt to changing situations.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to client homes and schools.
