Position Summary:
The Branch Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of the branch, ensuring efficient management and administrative operations. This position requires effective communication, support, and training of staff to maintain a productive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:
This role is classified as safety-sensitive, and all tasks must be executed in compliance with the company's safety standards.

  • Serve as the acting Branch Manager in their absence, taking on all associated responsibilities.
  • Oversee accounts related to customer billing and pre-payments.
  • Manage incoming purchase orders and verify related sales documentation.
  • Supervise all direct purchase orders for the branch.
  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of all branch-related transfer shipments.
  • Handle driver trip reports and maintain equipment inventory as required by corporate guidelines.
  • Manage cash reporting and banking activities during daily operations.
  • Engage in the training and development of new team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience; 2-5 years in a related field or a combination of education and experience is preferred. Familiarity with the construction sector is advantageous.

Skills and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to execute all job responsibilities safely and efficiently in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Willingness to wear necessary personal protective equipment as required.
  • Capability to work at a computer for extended periods, primarily in a seated position.
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus, collaborative problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to integrity.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, crawl, and reach.
  • Capacity to lift weights up to 10 pounds frequently, 25 pounds occasionally, and up to 50 pounds on rare occasions.
  • Exposure to various materials, fumes, odors, loud noises, chemicals, and dust may occur during the workday.
  • Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards is mandatory.
