About Our Services:
We specialize in addressing a range of challenges faced by children, including communication disorders, motor skill difficulties, emotional challenges, language delays, sensory integration issues, autism spectrum disorders, feeding challenges, and social skills development. Position Requirements:
- Valid Physical Therapy (PT) License in Illinois
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Positive demeanor and ability to work effectively in a team
- A strong belief in the impact of your skills on the development of children
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and address clients' performance to enhance their engagement in skill development
- Choose and modify the appropriate physical therapy treatment models and methods for each case
- Implement interventions to optimize performance across all areas of need
- Recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment
- Educate caregivers on effective strategies
- Monitor and document progress towards treatment goals
- Collect data and maintain accurate records of treatment processes
- Complete documentation in a timely manner
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrated experience as a physical therapist
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices
- Proficient in using technology and creative media in therapy
- Familiarity with evaluation tools used in physical therapy
- Ability to work with diverse patient personalities and diagnoses, including Autism
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge of current treatment practices
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
