Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Analog and Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products
  • Collaborate with Micron's various design and verification teams all over the world
  • Support the efforts of groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly and Marketing
  • Proactively design products that optimize all manufacturing functions and assure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of related experience or Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of related experience
  • Both analog and digital design and simulation experience required
  • Power delivery network related circuit design and optimization experience required
  • Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction)
  • Experience with circuit verification and optimization including layout verification and parasitic extractions of the circuits
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to other design peers both verbally and written
  • Working independently and in teams
  • Understanding of device physics and basic CMOS processing techniques preferred
  • Experience with PERL (or other scripting languages), a plus
  • Highly motivated and self-starter
  • Multi-tasking ability is a must for an analog circuit designer as we work with all product types (commodity, mobile, graphics) and product teams in parallel with silicon validation efforts
