POSITION OVERVIEW
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function plays a crucial role in delivering consolidated corporate performance metrics to executive leadership on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This information is essential for evaluating financial health, guiding strategic decisions, and facilitating necessary adjustments across the organization.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough research, analyzing, organizing, compiling, and reporting on both financial and operational data to furnish valuable insights to senior management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role demands a robust understanding of data trends and operational benchmarks that gauge financial performance. A successful analyst will:

  1. Generate, interpret, and communicate findings related to monthly business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes through data-driven insights.
  2. Collaborate with functional leaders to enhance scalable financial reporting mechanisms.
  3. Investigate and analyze budget discrepancies, fostering communication across various departments—strong collaboration skills are essential.
  4. Provide ad-hoc financial reports as requested by senior leadership.
  5. Assist in the preparation and reporting of the Annual Financial Plan and a 3-5 year business outlook.
  6. Oversee the preparation and monitoring of departmental G&A budgets, including monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting duties.
  7. Manage and report on Capital expenditures, including monthly variance analysis.
  8. Continuously improve summary financial information pertinent to Board of Directors reporting.
  9. Support the monthly update and Outlook process, delivering a rolling monthly perspective of key financial and performance indicators for the fiscal year.
  10. Develop and maintain working capital and cash flow models that align with actual and projected figures.
  11. Calculate and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in relation to incentive plans.
  12. Perform any additional related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
A comprehensive understanding of fields such as accounting, marketing, business administration, and finance is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a four-year college degree, complemented by 2-4 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
