RN Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Onsite Assessor for AssuriCare, a branch of WellCove with CHCS. As an RN Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting non-medical, observational assessments to determine the eligibility of clients for Long Term Care Insurance.

• Schedule and complete assessments in clients' homes or facilities
• Document client demographics, physician information, medication lists, and functional and cognitive levels of independence
• Administer cognitive screenings (MMSE or SPMSQ) and document clients' ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks
• Submit completed assessment documentation within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment
• Remain available for clarifications and answer any questions from AssuriCare's Clinical Review team

• Current unencumbered RN licensure in the state of practice
• Must have or be willing to obtain a professional liability insurance policy
• Must have a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle and/or public transportation
• Minimum of 2 years of home health experience or nursing in an equivalent area of practice serving geriatric clients
• Must have your own computer/tablet and internet access

• A competitive rate of $95 per assessment
• The opportunity to work on a PRN/As Needed basis
• The flexibility to choose your own schedule
