Manufacturing Quality Technician

Job DescriptionThis QA Technician role is located in our Newbury, OH manufacturing facility and comes with a competitive $45,000 - $65,000 per year salary. As a QA Technician, you will work under direct supervision to develop the skills necessary to apply quality standards and perform audit processes and inspection requirements.
Responsibilities- You will learn production procedures to ensure conformance to engineering specifications.
- You will verify processes related to quality and ensure they are understood and followed.
- You will develop knowledge and skills necessary to perform visual and dimensional inspection of molded and purchased parts.
- You will learn testing protocols to verify the functionality of products or parts, and the use of appropriate measuring and testing equipment.
- You will acquire knowledge of process audits to ensure adherence to work instructions.
- You will learn and perform dock audits to ensure adherence to shipping and packaging standards.
- You will record data into databases containing inspection records.
- You will maintain your work area by cleaning, straightening, and sweeping as necessary.
- You will adhere to all safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean work area.
- You will perform other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma is required for this role.
- You must be able to operate effectively both as an individual and as a part of a team.
- You need basic mechanical and math aptitude for this role.
- You must have basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet proficiency.
- You need basic mental and visual attention to detail for accuracy.
- You must have basic written and verbal communication skills in a business setting.
- You need ability to read simple blueprints and use calibrated gages, tools, and fixtures.
