Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team at St. Camillus Residential Health. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Support clients with rehabilitation activities, such as exercises and mobility training
  • Document and report changes in client status to the care team
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and colleagues
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid certificate of completion of a 40-hour training program for Level II PCA or PCA Alternate Competency Demonstration equivalency testing
  • Proven ability to work in a team context and set priorities
  • Proven skills in building and maintaining effective work relationships
  • Valid NYS Driver's license and proof of auto insurance (preferred)
