Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at i4 Search Group Healthcare. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure a clean and safe environment for surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile field and adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures, including patient positioning, anesthesia, and surgical site preparation.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including patient information, surgical notes, and inventory management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
  • Completion of a nationally accredited surgical technology program and certification as a surgical technologist from a national certifying body approved by the State of TN.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and inventory management.
