About the Job

As a Surgical Technologist III at Quality Talent Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Your expertise in surgical technology will be instrumental in assisting the surgical team during complex procedures, maintaining a sterile field, and adhering to aseptic techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scrub duties to assist physicians/surgeons during complex surgical procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.
  • Assist the circulator in preparing the room and performing surgical counts.
  • Prepare suture and dressing for surgeon use.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures.

Requirements
  • Technical degree or diploma in Surgical Technology.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Surgery Tech.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification.

Education and Certifications
Technical degree or diploma: Surgical Technology (Required)
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (Required)

Work Experience
Surgery Tech (3-5 years of experience)

Physical Demands
The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are: medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently. The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading. Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact. Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
