Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required
  • For newly licensed nurses, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) is required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in New Hampshire required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required
Program Details

The Nurse Residency Program is a year-long program with 12 training weeks. Various cohorts are available throughout the year. The program emphasizes adult learning principles and promotes clinical and leadership skills during the transition from student nurse to acute care professional nurse.

Units participating in this training program include: Neuroscience/ENT, Neuroscience/ENT (5W), and other units with a diverse patient population.

The program provides a Neuro-specific learning environment for initial and continuous professional development with opportunities to cross-train or grow into new Critical Care skills and future in our Neuroscience Special Care Unit and our Neuro Critical Care Unit.
