Lebanon, New Hampshire, United States Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health Full time

About the Opportunity

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health seeks a board certified or eligible Pediatric Neurologist to join its faculty based in Lebanon and Manchester, New Hampshire.

As a member of the Section of Pediatric Neurology, you will have the opportunity to work with a collegial, supportive, diverse team of Pediatric Neurologists, advanced practice providers, and dedicated nurses.

The Section boasts strong programs in general clinical pediatric neurology, pediatric neuro-oncology, neuro-metabolic and neuro-degenerative diseases, and a center of excellence in pediatric epilepsy in partnership with the Dartmouth Health Department of Neurology.

You will participate in inpatient coverage at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, facilitated by telehealth technology.

Excellent general clinical pediatric neurology skills, along with interpersonal skills in maintaining long-term professional relationships with patients and their families, are essential.

Subspecialty skills and training in any areas are desirable but not required.

Teaching pediatric residents, neurology residents, and medical students is expected, so eligibility for academic appointment at The Geisel School of Medicine is required, at a rank commensurate with experience and academic portfolio.

Opportunities for clinical, translational, and health services research exist for the interested candidates.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health provides a rare opportunity to combine high-level academic medicine with a serene and stress-free living environment.

Greater Manchester is often ranked among the best small cities in the United States for quality of life.

With destinations like Boston, Montreal, New York, the seacoast, and ski country within driving distance, these are ideal places to work and live.
