Position Overview

Peraton is in search of a Senior Cryptologic Cyber Planner to provide support for critical missions within the Intelligence Community (IC). This role is essential in locations that are pivotal to national security efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate strategies for client/server systems and design the architecture to align with these strategies.
  • Investigate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for acquisitions related to processing, data storage, data access, and application development.
  • Devise strategies for conducting assessments to determine the necessary resources—both hardware and software—required for immediate and future operations.
  • Create models of computing environments and applications, identifying and addressing performance issues within operational systems.
  • Analyze system usage patterns by workload type, identifying trends and projecting future resource needs.
  • May oversee the management of IT operations, including supervising associated personnel.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or GED with 12 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or a Doctoral degree with 4 years of experience.
  • Experience must be directly related to an IC mission (e.g., collection, cyber, and intelligence analysis) or a similar mission within the IC or Department of Defense, including strategic and/or operational level planning.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, or a related discipline is preferred, although degrees in other fields are acceptable.
  • Experience in external collaboration and engagement, such as participation in cross-agency working groups and field assignments, is preferred.
