Key Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a Senior Cryptologic Cyber Planner to provide support for an Intelligence Community (IC) mission. This role involves delivering specialized knowledge in the creation and enhancement of IT operational frameworks.

Core Duties Include:
  • Formulating strategies for client/server systems and designing the architecture to align with these strategies.
  • Investigating emerging technologies and advising on acquisitions related to processing, data storage, data access, and application development.
  • Creating methodologies for conducting assessments to determine the necessary space, computer hardware, software, and connectivity resources for both short-term and long-term needs.
  • Constructing models of the computing environment and identifying as well as resolving performance issues within computer operations systems.
  • Analyzing system usage by workload type, recognizing trends, and forecasting future resource requirements.
  • Potentially overseeing the management of IT operations, including associated personnel.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or GED with 12 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience must be directly associated with an IC mission (e.g., collection, cyber, and intelligence analysis) or a comparable mission in the IC or DoD, including strategic and/or operational level planning (e.g., joint operations).
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is mandatory.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • A degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, or a related discipline is preferred, although a degree in any field is acceptable.
  • Experience in external engagement and collaboration (involvement in cross-Agency working groups, Joint Defense Activities, field assignments, and external customer support) is advantageous.
