We are currently looking for a Service Technician for Agricultural Equipment to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf machinery, as well as established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
- Disassemble, assemble, and repair components and machinery as required.
- Complete all service tasks assigned by the Service Manager efficiently.
- Prepare necessary documentation detailing work performed on repair orders.
- Communicate any additional work needed on equipment to the Service Manager to ensure customer safety.
- Participate in all mandated training programs to enhance skills.
- Track time and materials utilized for all work activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Report any issues with tools, equipment, or vehicles promptly.
- Adhere to safety regulations consistently.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in service repairs is preferred.
- Ability to document diagnoses and work completed on repair orders accurately.
- Proficient knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Capability to utilize computers and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and instructions.
- Aptitude for performing basic repairs and maintenance using specialized tools according to Technical Manual procedures.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment as needed.
- A valid driver's license is required for potential driving situations.
- Experience with forklift operations is preferred.
- Must possess a personal set of tools for the role.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Engagement in various physical movements throughout the workday.
- Visual acuity for working with computers and detailed tasks.
- Periodic driving, both short and long distances, may be required.
- Dexterity for using standard tools and office equipment.
- Exposure to moderate to high noise levels in the work environment.
