Job Title: Charge Registered Nurse (RN)

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Women's Services team in Brenham, Texas.

About the Role:
  • As a Charge Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in providing high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum units.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, including delegating tasks, providing guidance and support, and evaluating performance.
  • Coordinate patient care, including communicating with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients and their families.
  • Ensure that our patients receive high-quality care, including adhering to hospital policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Labor and Delivery or Postpartum unit.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
