About the Role

Centerpoint Vascular and General Surgery is seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, efficient care to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform non-invasive hemodynamic evaluations and document test results
  • Conduct vascular ultrasonic procedures as directed by physicians
  • Schedule patients for procedures and explain procedures to ensure patient cooperation and optimal test results
  • Position patients and select the appropriate transducer for each procedure
  • Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment, adjusting as needed to focus the beam
  • Perform exams in a timely and professional manner
  • Take patient history and retrieve previous files as needed
  • Coordinate patient flow and check daily schedules to ensure all exams are completed
  • Maintain department records, reports, and files
  • Perform other duties as required by management

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience as an ultrasound technologist/sonographer
  • Certification through ARDMS or ARRT
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism
