Surgical Technologist Level II

The Surgical Technologist Level II provides care for patients, equipment, and supplies in the operating room. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical procedures and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
Responsibilities- Assist the OR team in the care of patients, equipment, and supplies
- Understand the procedure being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon
- Ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure
- Assist the surgeon and/or surgical assistant during the operative procedure
- Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire
- Competent to perform as first scrub in three of the four following specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, and Vascular Surgery
