Job Description

The Senior Preconstruction Manager is responsible for estimating and planning services associated with Design Assist, Design-Build, and Construction Management at Risk delivery methods.

  • Analyze plans and specifications to understand labor, material, and equipment costs to prepare professional and accurate cost estimates.
  • Promote customer relations with owner and design team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management and a minimum of five years of construction estimating or preconstruction experience with a General Contractor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
Experience: A minimum of five years of construction estimating or preconstruction experience with a General Contractor.
Skills: Strong team building, interpersonal, decision making, problem solving and negotiating skills needed. Experience with Navisworks Manage, BIM, Pro Contractor or similar computerized estimating software and Microsoft Office.
