Sourcing Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team at Pinnacle Group, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Enterprise Sourcing team in identifying and leading complex strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with internal business stakeholders and build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Client's policies and procedures related to supplier selection, contracting, and ongoing management.
  • Develop, implement, and manage robust market analysis and benchmarking processes to inform business, category, and project strategies.
  • Perform financial analysis, including demand scenario modeling, P&L impact analysis, and benchmark comparisons.
  • Develop, lead, and/or manage a robust portfolio of sourcing initiatives across the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process.
  • Lead the development and execution of negotiation strategies for high-value and complex multi-year deals.
  • Lead contract negotiations, partnering with Legal and business functions, to optimize overall value, including financial outcomes, service levels, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage key supplier relationships with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk, and costs.
  • Lead support for cross-functional teams in developing and executing sourcing projects, supplier management strategies, and complex contract negotiations.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Client and its clients and assets.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management.

Compensation:

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market, the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate, and other conditions of employment.
