Weather and Catastrophe Claims Adjuster

Job Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled Weather and Catastrophe Claims Services Claim Specialist to join our team. This role involves handling homeowners, commercial, and large loss claims from natural disasters and/or weather-related events. You'll be the primary point of contact for our insureds, explaining coverage, estimating damages, and guiding them through the claims process.
Key Responsibilities
- Explain coverage and estimate damages for insureds affected by natural disasters and/or weather-related events
- Guide insureds through the claims process, providing remarkable service and ensuring a seamless experience
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve complex claims and ensure timely resolution
- Travel extensively throughout the U.S. with our Weather Catastrophe Claims Services team, residing in or relocating to specific states at your own expense when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction, engineering, or a similar field
- Relevant claims adjusting experience and/or construction background
- Ability to obtain a Property and Casualty Adjuster's License in every state that requires claim handlers to be licensed
- Willingness to complete all required training, including applicable licensing exams and background checks

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on national averages and may vary depending on location, experience, and other factors.
