Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective use and functionality of automated equipment within our Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including testing, replacement, or repair of electrical systems, motors, power supplies, and other equipment.
  • Equipment Testing and Calibration: Test and calibrate equipment and instrumentation systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and water treatment chemicals.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System-related error conditions occurring in the Distribution Center.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintain the CMMS/EAM system on repairs required and performed on equipment in the Distribution Center.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including testing, replacement, or repair of electrical systems, motors, power supplies, and other equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
