Position Overview

The IT Identity Access Specialist is crucial to the organization, undertaking various responsibilities associated with the company's IT operations. This role primarily serves as the main point of contact for users seeking technical support regarding access management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and oversee user accounts, manage shared resources, and handle group memberships within a Microsoft Active Directory network environment.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts in the Google Apps Enterprise portal.
  • Administer user accounts for AS400/Client Access.
  • Respond to incoming calls and voicemails in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Utilize the helpdesk electronic ticketing system, Track-It, following departmental guidelines for managing user requests.
  • Collaborate with other team members on requests, issues, updates, and solutions.
  • Adhere to escalation procedures for situations requiring intervention from an Access Administration Supervisor or Manager.
  • Inform the Access Administration Manager or Supervisor of any IT changes that may affect escalation processes, major outages, server issues, or staffing concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree from a technical institution or similar training, along with at least one (1) year of experience in data entry roles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data entry with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Committed to delivering outstanding customer service within a collaborative team setting.
  • Able to read and interpret general business and technological documentation.
  • Capable of writing procedure manuals.
