We are currently seeking Private Aviation Security Specialists across the nation. Below, you will find detailed qualifications and responsibilities associated with this role. Please take a moment to review them.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify identification of passengers
- Conduct thorough inspections of individuals and their belongings for prohibited items
- Operate handheld metal detectors (HHMD) and electronic walkthrough metal detectors (WTMD) safely
- Perform pat-downs and physical checks as necessary
- Lift items weighing up to 40 lbs, and perform physical movements such as reaching, twisting, bending, and kneeling as required during shifts (2-3 hours)
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
- Engage with customers respectfully and professionally
- Fulfill any additional duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications
- 0 - 1 year of experience in a security role
- Must be at least 18 years old and a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or possess valid work authorization
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screening
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied schedules
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions and environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous military, law enforcement, or government security experience
- Experience in aviation or airline operational settings, such as FBOs, airports, or airlines
- Familiarity with aviation security program management and execution
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in documenting observations
- Customer-oriented, adaptable, and open to flexible working hours
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $25 to $35. This range reflects a good faith estimate that considers various factors, including the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, location, education, and skills.
*Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered when applicable.
