We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Village at St. Edward. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working independently to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate their care needs. You will also supervise and direct care provided by nursing assistants and participate in continued professional development.
Responsibilities- Provide direct resident care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Supervise and direct care provided by nursing assistants
- Participate in continued professional development
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Ohio
- Assisted Living experience preferred
- Good physical and mental health
- Possesses the necessary dexterity to perform injections, IVs, etc.
- Able to lift, push, and pull 35-50 pounds independently, and over 50 pounds with assistance
- Possesses the ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles
- Walks, stands, and sits intermittently during the day
